Precor Assembly & Installation

Precor strength equipment installation needs a distinction between the machine's frame assembly and the setup of its user-adjustment and resistance systems. A selectorized station, a cable trainer, and a bench do not share the same commissioning steps. We identify the model family and delivered condition before deciding what work is required. Equipment covered: Selectorized strength machines; Cable and functional-training stations; Strength benches and supporting equipment. Planning your installation: Provide the model designation and photos of the unit as delivered, including covers removed for transport. For relocated equipment, note whether stacks, cables, pads, or arms were detached and whether the original fasteners and instructions are available. Transport and reassembly review: Identify the components removed for access or shipping and reconcile them against the model's assembly instructions before reinstalling covers or closing off connections. Adjustment and range controls: Inspect the fitted seat, pad, and range-setting mechanisms for positive engagement and correct travel, without assuming features from a different Precor model. Resistance-system completion: Where fitted, check cable paths, stack alignment, retention components, and specified guards before an operational handover. Handover: The review distinguishes completed assembly checks from any condition-related repair discovered on used equipment. Replacement parts or corrective work require their own confirmed scope. Fix Fitness provides independent assembly services. Brand names identify the equipment being assembled and do not imply manufacturer authorization or affiliation. Frequently Asked Questions

Is reassembling a used Precor station the same as repairing it?
No. Reassembly restores the intended configuration using suitable components. Worn cables, damaged adjustment parts, or missing guards may require separate repair or replacement before the machine is ready for use.
